We encourage women to attend for regular Pap tests and Breast checks at our surgery in order to aid early detection of cervical cancer and breast cancer.

Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your GP is away.

Longer consultation times are available so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time.

About Our Practice

Dr. Vanisri Acharya has over twelve years of experience in all aspects of General Practice. She has an interest in women’s health, children’s health and aged care.

Test Results

The doctor will advise you regarding when the results will be available.

The surgery will try to contact you for discussion of any abnormal results. If you haven’t heard from us after the expected time, you must ring us to know more about your test results.

Test results will not be divulged over the phone. It is in your best interest to make an appointment to see the doctor and discuss your results.

Telephone Access

The doctor may be contacted during normal opening hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and the receptionist will advise you when it is likely that the doctor will return your call. In an emergency your call will always be put through to the doctor.

Reminder System

Our practice is committed to preventative care. We routinely send out reminders about various preventive activities that may be relevant to you . If you do not wish to be a part of this system, please let the reception staff know.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

This is a family medical practice and any anti social or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Your Rights
