Dr. Anand Srinivasa is one of the most skilled practitioners that we have at Align Dentistry & Medical Centre. He has been practicing dentistry & Orthodontics for the past 18 years.
Dr Anand is a strong believer in early diagnosis and treatment of a malocclusion or malrelation of the teeth and jaws that may affect normal function. He is of the opinion that early diagnosis can help prevent future jaw problems. He also believes that treatment timing is crucial in achieving a good result in an acceptable amount of time.
According to the American Association of Orthodontics, the ideal age to get your first Orthodontic check-up is 7 years. Certain malrelation of teeth and jaws are caused by habits such as thumb sucking, tongue thrusting etc, which if recognised early in age and stopped could help to correct the malrelation of the jaws through normal growth and development
Dr Anand believes in keeping a professional attitude towards all his patients while bonding with them on a personal level at the same time. He tries to motivate all his patients and gives them confidence about their Dental situations.
With his treatment, Dr Anand not only aims to straighten teeth but he also aims on creating optimal facial harmony that can sometimes be disrupted by crooked or unnatural teeth.
Dr Anand treats both children and adults and works with metal and clear braces. He also works with lingual braces (braces placed on the inside of the upper and lower teeth) and Invisalign (clear aligners).
Dr Anand is married to Dr. Vani Anand who is the General Practitioner at Align medical. They have two beautiful children together and he loves spending time with his children. He is a complete family man that enables him to be compassionate towards and have a bond with his patients.
Dr Anand has solved many cases involving malocclusion of the teeth and jaws over his practice of 18 years and has thus gained a reputation for being a reliable and skilled Dentist. Over the years he has treated many difficult and rare cases and has followed up on them post treatment with utmost dedication and success. He likes to document all his cases by taking photographs at regular intervals and is currently in the process of writing a textbook.
