Invisible Braces

Invisible When You Smile

TOTALLY INVISIBLE
Have You Been Thinking of Getting Braces but are Worried About the Metallic Look?
Solution: Align Dentistry & Medical Centre offers Lingual Braces, a perfect alternative for those concerned about the appearance of traditional braces.

What are Lingual Braces?

“Lingual Braces” are placed behind the teeth, rather than in front, and therefore offer a great cosmetic alternative for those who want their teeth straightened, without the Braces showing. Lingual Braces are the best option for adults who do not want to wear conventional Braces. Lingual Braces are the most invisible type of Dental Braces.

Advantages

  1. Placed behind the teeth and is virtually invisible
  2. You can see your teeth move and assume its new position as there are no Braces covering the tooth on the outside
  3. Teeth Whitening could be carried out when on braces as the front of the tooth is not covered with Braces.
    Appropriate for all ages

Cost-effective procedure

Metal Braces are an investment of your time and money. Moreover, the cost of Lingual Braces is generally more than conventional Braces. Being custom-made and using specialised technology, the associated costs of Lingual Braces tend to be higher.

Lingual Braces at Align Dentistry & Medical Centre

Your first consultation with your “Family Dentist” will include a detailed examination and treatment plan session.

The process for Lingual Braces involves taking an impression of the teeth, which is then sent to our Dental laboratory and used to create customised brackets. The process takes about four weeks and, once complete, allows our clinician to use a specific process to cement the Braces onto the back surfaces of your teeth.
Like traditional Braces, this product works by applying gentle yet continuous pressure on the teeth, to help them slowly shift into proper position. The treatment can take anywhere from 18-24 months, depending on the severity of a patient’s overcrowding of teeth or their bite.

As with any Orthodontic appliance, good oral hygiene is essential to ensure that gingivitis or tooth decay doesn’t creep in. Proper Dental hygiene should include brushing twice a day and flossing daily.
